All I Want for Christmas....

Is a name for my daughter!!! I cannot believe that I am 37 weeks along and we still don't have a name picked out!! My picky husband thinks that we need to see her before we can make a decision, but I just want to know now! So basically this post is a ranting session for me- and a plea for any suggestions. We really are stumped and I don't want my baby to go home nameless!

19 - - 19

Random Post Time!! I just had to do one today because I am 19 weeks on the 19th! Wowza, I really love numbers, don't I?? I am so excited that next week I'll be out of the teens, and half way through this long journey! We know our slug bug is a girl, but have yet to decide on a name... let me know if any of you have some fabulous suggestions!

Our Newest Addition

Well here is a random post for anyone that even checks my blog... I know it's been over a year, and a lot has happened- but this might get me started again. I might one day post pics of our wedding- yes, that happened 9-9-09, and of our house that we bought in November 2009. Wow- I am seriously a huge slacker! Anyway, here is our newest addition- Presley!! She is almost 12 weeks old, and a HUGE amount of work! Hopefully I'll survive potty training a puppy!

Valentine's Day -- Wink, Wink

Riley always makes Valentine's Day very special for me. This year he was being especially secretive and wouldn't give anything away. When I got home from work Thursday night, he casually informed me that I should pack a suitcase and that we needed to get up at 6:30 a.m. We arrived at the airport where I found out he was surprising me with a trip to Las Vegas!! I was soooo excited! After the flight we took a shuttle bus to our hotel- which turned out to be The Palazzo! I took some pics of the room because I've never stayed in such a plush suite.

The next day was Valentine's Day. We slept in, had some lunch, hung out at the hot tub... then Riley told me that I needed to be ready by 5:50 because he had another surprise. We headed down to the lobby and I found out that he had made reservations at the super fancy Morel's French Steakhouse. I was floored that he had pulled this all off without me knowing anything. We had the most fabulous dinner ever!! After dinner we headed back up to the room to exchange Valentine's cards. Our room was directly across from Treasure Island so we stood by the window and watched the fireworks show. And then.... for the grand finale of surprises....

HE PROPOSED!!!

So yes, ladies and gentlemen... we are officially engaged!!! The wedding date is

September 9, 2009.

Graduation Celebration Extravaganza!!!

Oh HAPPY Day!! As most of you know, Riley graduated last Friday with his Bachelors in Business Economics. It's been a long time coming, so you bet we were going to party like ROCK STARS!! Here's some pics of the blessed event. (The pictures of Riley walking and actually getting his diploma are too dark to see- sorry)

Here's Riley after walking and getting his diploma. Priceless!!

Riley with his Mom, Carol and Step-Dad Steve.

Riley with his sweet little Grandma.

Riley and his Dad, Dio.

Riley and the person to whom he owes his degree to! HA HA I know I'm exaggerating, but I think I should get some recognition too.

Ahhh, the sacred bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label which Riley saved for 2 1/2 years- so he could drink it on graduation night. He had about half a glass...

The BOYS of the party!

We also went to dinner at the Warehouse Steak Company, but apparently we didn't take any pictures there. His Mom, Step-Dad and Dad were there, my Mom and Dad, Riley's brothers and sisters- Robbi, Tyler (and his girlfriend Bobbi Jo) Steven and Sydney, and our friends Mike, Derek and Chrissy. Thanks to everyone who couldn't be there, but sent cards to give their support and well wishes!

Veteran's Day

Since Tuesday was Veteran's Day, my super talented sister, Andrea made a lovely arrangement to put at my Grandpa Zweifel's grave. We met at the cemetery to show our respect. I forgot to take my camera, so hopefully she'll post some pics. My other Grandpa (who is still with us) is a Vet also. What an honor it is to have such great men in my life. Happy Veteran's Day!
