Happy Birthday Riley!!

Happy Birthday to my sweetie! Riley turned (can you guess how old??) 28 on Thursday, May 29th- it was a fun day!

He wanted cupcakes this year, so I made his (our) favorite, yellow cake with chocolate frosting!

He got a gift certificate to Uintah Golf from his Dad and some cash money from me and my parents, so he should be set to buy his new driver!

He chose to have his birthday dinner at The Melting Pot in Salt Lake. It was really fun- really long, and a TON of food!

Happy 28th Birthday Babe!!

Memorial Day

We visited Grandma Dille's grave on Saturday. It's still so new, and it was hard for me to be there. I miss her very much- but still firmly believe she's so happy now!

Time however, doesn't make you miss someone any less. We visited Grandpa Zweifel's grave on Sunday- and I still have a hard time. I miss him very much too and hope he spends all of his time fishing in Heaven!

Big day for the Triplets! Brynlee, Easton and McKenna graduated from pre-school! I can't believe how the time flies!

The triplets had the spotlight during the performance of the December song, Jingle Bells!!

Congratulations to all of you!

Can We Build It??? YES WE CAN!!!

My family and I are participating in the American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life". It's an all night event, so everyone sets up tents and of course, decorates them. We decided that since we're doing this in honor of Grandma Dille- we better make it as Dutch as possible. So we got together and started construction on our project...

I've got to give Jen props! She is quite amazing when it comes to pulling it out of thin air. Our plan to use spray paint went horribly wrong- so the Amazing Jennifer produced not only one, but TWO colors of paint for our handy dandy project!

This was hard work!! And oh ya- it was only about 85 degrees!

Tuckered out workers.

And here it is! Our hours of hard labor. Isn't it beautiful?? Oh, if you couldn't tell, it's going to be a windmill. We're only about half-finished. We need to attach the arms and do some detail work. I'll definitely post pics of the finished project.

Go Team!!

Happy Mother's Day!! Just a little late...

Since I was flying home from Orlando on Mother's Day- we postponed the celebration. We all went to dinner at Prairie Schooner on Thursday. It was nice to see all of my family, and especially my Mom. I Love You Mom!!

Mom with her gift. A pencil drawing of Grandma Dille- Happy Mother's Day to you too!

We're Baaaaackkkkk!!!

So our fabulous vacation is O-V-E-R!! It's only been 2 days since we've been home- but I know you're all dying to see the pics! I promise I'll get on it just as soon as I've caught up on my sleep and laundry! I honestly believe that we did as much as humanly possible in 10 days! We started in Orlando where we crammed in going to four parks in two days, then off to our seven night cruise where we we're non-stop, adventurous, partiers! We finished up the trip with a stop by the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral and wah-la! That sums it up- but I will provide more detailed information when I post the pics. Stay tuned!!
